Extract from the Minute of the Executive Council dated 27th.December, 1899.

"The papers relating to this case were laid

before Council. The Postmaster General and Mr.Barron

attended. The list of charges and the replies thereto

were read by the Colonial Secretary and in connection

with the 5th, charge the Assistant Postmaster General

and Mr. Abbas gave evidence.

After full consideration the Council advised

that Mr.Barron be removed from the Post Office and reduced

to his original position of Police Constable."
